Auburn – 3 Bed, 2 Bath Riverfront Home

I fell in love with this riverfront property in Kent and nicked named it “7^th Heaven” because it was my 7^th flip and it felt like a little piece of heaven. Salmon spawning, rafting, evenings by the fire pit and even a few picnics with close friends by the river made this an extra special flip. The property had been neglected for several years but as we peeled back the layers we discovered a lot of love and a well-built home. We gutted the home and overhauled the landscaped to enhance the amazing view.  We put on a new roof, shored up a foundation wall that had rotted over the years, removed an old hot tub and the dilapidated deck and garden boxes.  We installed new windows, paint, doors and millwork. We added new laminate flooring, carpet and sheet vinyl. We updated the brick fireplace with a white wash and a wonderful antique mantel. We fought with moles that loved our newly restored lawn. (I don’t think we won that battle!) We topped it off with a hammock in the shade, staging and a new garden box and it was ready to show.
