Bremerton – 3 Bed, 2 Bath Home

Reading post after post about Seattle bidding wars and ridiculous escalations for houses that honestly, weren’t that great; crazy prices for tear downs, shoddy work and minimal updates helped me realize that it was time to take a leap outside of King County. I found a house online in Bremerton, Kitsap County. From the pictures, it looked like it needed very little work, I loved the layout, it had three bedrooms and two bathrooms and I thought it had a ton of potential. I bought it sight unseen and looked forward to several Seattle / Bremerton Springtime ferry rides. The landscape was a mess, the wood flooring had warped but the paint, trim and cabinets were all useable. It came with a sprinkler system and solar panels and just needed a little TLC. We put in new landscape, updated the flooring and countertops in the kitchen, added a beautiful tile backsplash and gave it a good cleaning. We sold it a few weeks later for a nice profit.
